Ankle boots with warm lining - black leather, block sole

Lovely Andrea Contin leather ankle boots with a warm lining! The simply stylish combat boots are made of really soft, classic beautiful black leather and are comfortable to wear. Otherwise, the lighter stripe around the otherwise dark brown sole adds a nice edge to the look. The warm fur lining keeps toes warm in light frost. The ankle boots have a wide last, and by tightening or loosening the laces, the fit can be adjusted quite a bit; additionally, the soft leather molds comfortably. There are zippers on the inner side for putting them on. Really nice ankle boots for many occasions!

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 in this model was good in width for Maria’s foot. It felt slightly short in length, the toes were almost at the end. Size 42 felt suitably snug on Maria’s foot, and the leather would surely have given a little. Because of the length, however, Maria would choose size 43; by tightening the laces and using an insole, the next size would fit nicely. Lovely combat boots!
